The spirit of excellence, dedication, and teamwork was on full display as the Val Vista Academy Cheerleading Team captured the state championship title, marking a historic achievement for the program and the entire school community.
Competing against some of the top teams from across the state, Val Vista’s cheerleaders delivered a flawless and energetic routine that impressed judges and spectators alike. Their performance showcased advanced stunts, precise choreography, and unwavering enthusiasm—earning them the highest honors and solidifying their place among the state’s elite programs. The team worked so hard over the past 4 months, practicing mornings and after school, and even on Saturdays.
Beyond their athletic success, the cheerleaders have been leaders on campus, promoting school spirit and serving as ambassadors for Val Vista Academy athletically and academically! Their positive energy and commitment to excellence have inspired students, staff, and the broader community.
School administrators and staff joined in celebrating the team’s accomplishment, recognizing the athletes not only for their victory but also for the pride and unity they have brought to the school. A special thanks to coaches Caterina Whitus and Raelyn DaSilva on their success. This is the second year in a row that they have won the state competition in D-1 Show Cheer.
