Dear Dobson Academy Families,

We are asking you to consider making your donation to the Dobson Academy extracurricular tax credit program.

Last year our community contributed $26,535 from 80 contributors or 19% of our familes.

This year we have experienced lighter than usual parent support for the Arizona Tax Credit program. It is likely that some of the wonderful extracurricular opportunities for students will be reduced or eliminated in the future without this important support.

Dobson teachers and staff plan a wide range of extracurricular activities to supplement curriculum, expose students to the arts and give them the opportunity to participate in many athletic endeavors. These include but are not limited to the following:

Transportation for field trips and sporting events

Theatrical and Musical performances

Science Fair, Math Night

Notable Arizona Landmarks

The Phoenix Zoo including a 4th grade sleepover at the zoo

Athletic Teams - Cross-Country, Football, Basketball, Baseball, Softball, Cheerleading

Help us continue to build strong traditions of excellence.

Our goal this year is to raise overall participation.

The maximum contribution remains $400 for couples filing jointly and $200 for single filers.

A 2010 Tax Credit form is available here online and in the school office.
